Flew my Pilot "Mace" one fine day and this eagle came bugging. I suppose it got annoyed with the glider as i have tresspass into his airspace. Came attacking my glider :(
Hi Bro, love your Mace and I am planning to get one too. Btw, what the brushless and prop setup that you used. I have tried to look up in the web but there is not much info on the Mace. I am looking for a electric gloder around 2.5-3.0m with budget around S$400-500. Do you reccommend the Mace.
Hey Bro, Mace is a good glider to start with. As for my setup, I am using a Tahmazo motor with a 1200Kv, 12/8 aeronaut propeller. That was more than enough to take it to the sky. It was awesome glider but unfortunately i hae sold it off to one of my flying buddy. With that kind of budget, you could also get a fully moulded sailplane such as E Ginger from soaring composites. Unless if you are just starting to take up soaring, then you might as well as stick to the mace.
i'm harun from kota kinabalu sabah.. i'm slope soarer too. just wonder if i could launch mace by using hi start method? do you think the wing can hold the high speed pressure ? how the mace thermalling? is it as good as composite f3j one?
